On April 9, 2004, the Indian River Corvette Club held its 50th regular meeting and the 4rd of 2004. Rob welcomed Bryants friend, JoElla and Smiths nephew, Riley . New committees include: Membership Ro Bryant, Charity Dan Bryant, 2005 Car Show Chairman Harry Butler. Karl Steene won the 50/50.
Mystery Dinner Run, on April 27, 2004 organized by Karl and Bonnie Steene. We had 15 cars and 25 members eat at the Black Pearl Brasserie on Ocean Drive. Violins and a palm reader added to the evening. Thanks again, Karl and Bonnie.
Callerys, Quinas, Uliskys, Smiths and Keslers made a good showing at the April 17th Vettes At The Port Show in Port Canaveral. We enjoyed lunch at Rustys. Our members in their yellow shirts made their presence known.
We sadly witnessed the passing of Duane Wolf on April 18, 2004. Duane died in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. He was a frequent visitor to Vero Beach and loved to fish and drive his red C-5 convertible. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Joanne and family.
