HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ALL!

On  May 14,  2004, the Indian River Corvette Club held its 51th regular meeting.  New member Steve Miltenberger and guests Rusty and Jody Smith were on hand to help Sue celebrate her birthday.  We are working on a 2005 show date. Ro is working on a club directory.  John Mulligan has a black  73 roadster for sale.  Hollyann won the 50/50.  We went to Outback for dessert.

Mystery Dinner Run, on May 25th, 2004 was Terri and Cliff Crawford.  We had a nice turnout of 25 members.  First stop for the ''progressive dinner run'' was Applebees.  Clues were given at each stop.  We then motored on down to Beef O'Gradys for drinks.  After a brief ''autocross'' set up by Cliff and his neighbors, we landed at the Crawfords for burgers and dogs and all the trimmings.  It was a fun evening!

STUART RIVER CRUISE-IN CAR SHOW
 
The Stuart Corvette Club hosted the 6th Annual Corvette River Cruise-in car show on May 8th, 2004.  The weather was perfect for the show and 184 cars from 10 different Florida clubs enjoyed the day.  Participating from the Indian River Corvette Club were Rob & Cathie Callery, John Muldoon, Nancy Murray, Terry & Sue Smith and Paul Toth.  Rob took home a second place trophy with his 2004 LeMans edition ZO6.
The Fort Pierce Marina has undergone a recent facelift which added a lot to the shows appeal.  A charity poker walk to some businesses in downtown Ft Pierce was a nice addition.  An autographed cap signed by the C-5 race team was raffled off.
